National Equestrian Centre Reopens With World-Cup Qualifier

Wyndham will host a world-class equestrian event next month, marking the return of competitions at the Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre following a COVID hiatus.

The ‘2021 PSI Dressage and Jumping with the Stars’ event will take place at the centre over three days, from Thursday 18 March until Saturday 20 March 2021.

The event is renowned for showcasing the current and future stars in Australia and hosts a range of competitions, including a World Cup Qualifier in Jumping.

Destination Wyndham Portfolio Holder, Cr Heather Marcus, encouraged residents to attend the prestigious event and said it was an opportunity for tourists to discover what Wyndham has to offer.

“It’s great to see the return of the Equestrian events to the Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre after a COVID hiatus,” Cr Marcus said.

“The 2021 PSI Dressage & Jumping with the Stars is a fantastic opportunity to showcase our region to visitors.”

“Events like these have a strong economic impact, with visitors and competitors staying and dining out here, and it’s a great opportunity to encourage them to return and visit our many attractions.”

“While the event attracts visitors from far and wide, this is a fantastic opportunity for locals to experience a world-class equestrian event in their own backyard.”

You can book tickets to the event here.
